Facts/Quotes

  • The word secretary, is derived from the same root as the word “secret.”  In Latin, secretarius means “one entrusted with secrets,” a “confidential officer,” and a “protectoress.”  The Romans gave their assistants the name secretariatus, which meant “keeper of secrets.”  And in France from the 13th to the 16th centuries, the word, secretaire meant “a confidante.”

  • The very first secretaries of the world were the scribes of long ago.

Greatness is a life lived with grace and gratitude

I am humbled and appreciative of all things.

No matter what your age, gender or status; showing humility and gratitude, in the face of challenges, are two of the most difficult qualities or degrees of excellence you possess and will choose to express. When life is beating you down; you make the choice to stand up and get on with loving the life you live.
