About Our Chapter

Thank you for your interest in the Liberty Bell Chapter of IAAP, the world's first and foremost association for administrative professionals like you.  The Liberty Bell Chapter was chartered on February 20, 2007 and currently has 33 members.

Administrative professionals go by various titles in the workplace, from administrative assistant, executive assistant, secretary and executive secretary, information and administrative coordinator to office administrator, plus many other titles.

Our Chapter retains top administrative professionals in Philadelphia as its members. They take advantage of valuable resources, education, training, career development information and networking opportunities enabling them to have more than just a job, they have a career. Professional development and corporate finesse put IAAP members ahead of others and allow them to become more effective contributors in the workplace, a valuable asset in today's marketplace.

Being actively involved in a chapter also helps you gain leadership experience and builds management-level skills -- can be everything from public speaking, to project management, to strategic planning, to event planning -- skills you might not learn on the job or through training provided to admins by employers.

Our chapter is part of the Pennsylvania Division of IAAP which encompasses all IAAP members who live in Pennsylvania who are members of a local chapter or a member-at-large.  The Division provides educational seminars and workshops in May, as well as presents Professional Development awards to members and chapters for their efforts in promoting IAAP's mission, purpose, objectives and vision.
